Your black licorice trees are on fire.  
Your wheat fields are aflame  
with the croaks of the gasping  elderly.  Your flashes of farmland  
ripple with pastoral  
calmness, forever  
the killing fields  
of forgotten warriors,  
who would rather  
shadow the brig  of a ship in  gray stencil, color  calluses on cannonballs  
than fight for their lives.   
Take off the flash on the easel;  it’s curdling the yellow, buttering

So. I've decided to take this acting thing seriously.

And my Mom STILL thinks I'm going to major under something more financially stable.

*wheezes* I don't have the self-confidence for this yet. AUGH.

Anyway, is there some sadness that's been infecting everybody around here? It seems like everyone's had their souls sucked out.

Well, I've probably talked to you already, but for those going through some hard times I wish you some serious love.

P.S. Writing will continue, but not with poetry for the time being. Although I have enough material to last me for months.
